Aric is a public cloud advocate who enjoys disrupting the status quo. Under his guidance Agosto turned its focus to Fortune 500 enterprises across North America, earning the business of Groupon, Square, Consumer Reports and many others, as well as achieving the status of a Google tier 1 Premier Partner.
Prior to Agosto, Aric founded Outsourced IT, a managed services company that was sold to Techies, the commercial spin-off of Geek Squad. As an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota he teaches a course on leveraging cloud-based apps to advance global health research. In 2012, he was chairman of the Google Enterprise advisory board. Aric holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from the University of St. Thomas. He’s a father, a musician, and loves being outdoors. He volunteers for the United Way’s IT Skills @Work Committee and the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA).
Chief Executive Officer
Irfan is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Agosto. As CEO, Irfan sets the strategic direction for both Agosto and Skykit. He is responsible for identifying emerging opportunities that leverage Agosto’s market position as a leading cloud broker and product development expert, curating and managing delivery teams to support the company’s growth. Under his leadership Agosto has achieved a top position in the Google Cloud Partner ecosystem, and has grown over 150 percent in the past three years.
Irfan holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences from the University of Oregon and is an avid cyclist who has completed the Leadville Trail 100 bike race six times.
Chief Technology Officer
Paul has more than 25 years of experience building technical teams in application software, product development, and systems integration. He is charged with executing the strategic vision of all product development and intellectual property at Agosto and Skykit. Paul oversees Agosto’s cloud product development consultancy, leading the largest Google Cloud Platform (GCP) software development team in North America. With his oversight the group built software to facilitate a device deployment and provisioning process for a global retailer with 9,000 stores in North America. The project and platform informed and inspired the product that would become Skykit.
Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and business administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He enjoys cycling, mountain climbing and ice hockey.
Co-Founder and Chief Cloud Strategist
As Chief Cloud Strategist, Rick is focused on ensuring that Agosto, and its clients, fully understand, select and deploy enterprise cloud solutions when integrating, modernizing, or moving to the cloud. Rick’s expertise is in navigating the complex cloud provider ecosystem to align the features of private & public clouds that solve the challenges of each unique business.
In 2001 Rick co-founded Agosto. As the public cloud market matured, he led Agosto’s strategic pivot from a managed private cloud provider to a professional services organization focused on supporting the enterprise journey to the cloud.
Rick has 20+ years of technology and leadership experience in enterprise product development, systems architecture, and infrastructure modernization and adoption. His expertise has been instrumental to Agosto becoming a leading cloud integrator, aggregator, and top Google Cloud provider, as well as a valued resource to industry analysts and the media.
Rick studied computer science, biochemistry and political science at the University of Minnesota. He’s an avid mountain biker and cyclist who competes at the elite level in the MN Mountain bike series and other cycling events, and is a member of the board of directors at the MN Cycling Center. Rick is actively involved in Mounds View Basketball, coaching youth at different age levels for the last 20 years. He also acts as an executive advisor to Minnesota startups, mentoring entrepreneurs throughout their journey. Rick and his wife have four children.
Vice President of Finance / HR
Mike oversees Agosto’s finance and human resources departments, providing strategic direction to help the company capitalize most effectively on its growth. He creates and implements processes designed to improve Agosto’s operational and financial efficiencies and fuel company growth.
Mike is a board member at BIZAA, a non-profit aiding Nigerian children, and at the Twin Cities chapter of Financial Executives International. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University, and a master’s in business administration from St. Cloud State University. He also holds a CPA certificate in Minnesota.
Mike is on an accomplished snow sculpting team that took first place at the Minnesota State Snow Sculpting Championship; second place at the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition; and a Bronze medal at the 2015 Budweiser International Snow Sculpting Championships.
Vice President of Marketing
Elizabeth is passionate about embracing the ever-changing marketing landscape for technology companies. With 25 years of product marketing, brand strategy, demand generation, and leadership experience, Elizabeth is focused on growing Agosto’s market position and revenue generation.
Prior to joining Agosto, Elizabeth served in a variety of marketing and leadership roles at companies that include Oracle, Accenture, MTS Systems Corporation, and SAS, and has built or elevated the function of marketing within multiple cloud-based tech companies.
Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and marketing from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and kayaking with her husband and daughter in northern Minnesota, wrangling her two large dogs, traveling and making plans to get to all four Major professional tennis tournaments.
Director of Cloud Services
Mark ensures the successful and smooth transition to G Suite for all Agosto customers. He and his team work with customers throughout the entire lifecycle of a project – from the early stages of discovery, to the development of project plans and deployment models, to the implementation and go live stage. His team provides change management support and training, which directly correlate to project success by supporting end user adoption, proficiency and satisfaction with Google Apps.
Mark has a degree in computer and voice networking from Alexandria Technical College. He is an avid beer brewer and participates in the local craft brewing scene.
Director of Cloud Infrastructure
As the Director of Cloud Infrastructure at Agosto, Jeremy is responsible for managing the software engineering team that builds, designs, implements and maintains front-ends and back-ends for Google’s IaaS products and related services. He also manages large scale data migrations from either on prem or cloud solutions to the Google cloud.
With more than 20 years in the technology industry, Jeremy has a unique combination of infrastructure architecture and software development experience. He came to Agosto from Paragon Development Systems, where he started in the office of the CTO as a Technologist and later became the Principal Architect.
VICE PRESIDENT of Software engineering
Mark leads Agosto’s award-winning professional services team that develops architectures, products and methodologies, and delivers world-class implementation services to clients. He provides technical leadership to advanced services projects, and is strategically involved with customers throughout the sales process in order to ideate, develop and deliver custom software development products built on Google Cloud Platform.
As a Minnesota native, Mark has been building, mentoring and managing high-performing software engineering and technical operations teams for almost 20 years, with a focus on software development, application architecture and design, system architecture, networking, and security in regulated industries.
Previously, Mark served as a Chief Technology Officer in the health insurance marketplace that helped consumers select, purchase, and manage health care plans and expenses. In addition, he was a Solutions Architect at Best Buy, where he designed integration architecture for external partners and internal enterprise systems.
