The company is recognized for its innovations with Google Cloud Platform
MINNEAPOLIS – Oct. 4, 2018 – Agosto Inc., a cloud services and development company and tier 1 Google Cloud Premier Partner, announced today it is a finalist for the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) 2018 Tekne Awards.
For the past two decades the Tekne Awards have recognized organizations that are leading-edge innovators in science and technology in Minnesota. The 2018 Tekne Awards ceremony on Nov. 29 will reveal winners among the finalists in 16 categories.
“Agosto is made up of analysts, coders, developers, architects, and subject matter experts, all of whom are professionally invested in understanding Google products inside and out,” said Aric Bandy, president at Agosto. “It’s the collective dedication of these individuals that earned this recognition.”
Agosto is one of three finalists in the IT Solutions Consulting category. As enterprise adoption of the public cloud accelerates, Agosto is helping private and public sector organizations seamlessly transition to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Unilog is a global technology company specializing in ecommerce and product data management in the B2B marketplace. The organization engaged Agosto to help improve its business processes and support operations using a public cloud provider to better scale client deployments. Agosto analyzed its existing IT infrastructure and recommended modifications to support GCP. Agosto is certified by Google in Cloud Infrastructure.
“Previously it took four or five days to build an environment for each new customer, and Agosto was able to identify what changes we should make within our infrastructure to improve that process,” stated Swamy Mahesh, chief technology officer at Unilog. “With their help we’ve reduced that time significantly – to about one day.”
Margaret Anderson Kelliher, president and CEO of the Minnesota High Tech Association, said, “The Tekne Award finalists this year represent the ongoing strength of innovative Minnesota-based companies. They are pioneers in leading-edge science and technology that has impact around the globe.”
Founded in 2001, Agosto is a cloud services company that helps organizations leverage Google Cloud products in the private and public sectors, providing technical solutions, change management and training, custom development, migration and deployment from legacy systems, ongoing admin support, and product development.
